Graystone Presbyterian

Well, it's been a long time in the making, but it looks like Kindermusik with Miss Patricia & Friends finally has a home.

Many of you may recognize the name Wendel Werner. He is a true renaissance man and magician at the keyboard. He is best known as a composer, director, recording artist, teacher and one of Knoxville's finest musicians. He can do wonders on the piano (working well in classical as well as jazz piano). He has his Masters in Choral Conducting; having worked in many choral directing capacities through the years. Mr Werner is currently the music director at Graystone Presbyterian and has generously offered Kindermusik with Miss Patricia & Friends a space at his church. We are proud to be a part of such a great church and to be able to work under Mr Werner's auspices. Thanks again to all of our constant supporters, and I hope to see you and your children very soon!

Kindermusik with Miss Patricia & Friends is currently in talks with the Children's Theater of Knoxville to see if we can utilize their space a few days a week. This is not definitive, but we are keeping our fingers x'd. :) Wish us luck. This would be a great opportunity if it works out.

Though the meeting with Borders' Turkey Creek store manager was very promising and they offered us a space, we thought it prudential not to accept the offer, as another teacher also teaches regular demos at this store location. I apologize for being overly enthusiastic before I was 100% sure. Thanks for checking back in, and we should have a location to give you soon!

Here is what some parents are already saying about Kindermusik:

"Our classes have been one of the most treasured childhood experiences I have shared with my daughter. Our instructors have been very professional and knowledgeable. I have watched my daughter grow tremendously emotionally, musically, physically, and socially. I credit the Kindermusik program. My daughter feels loved, welcome, valued and like she is part of something very special. We both know and feel in our hearts that our 45 minutes a week is really ‘Our Time.’" Lori King, Houston, TX

"Kindermusik makes learning fun for my son. He is very receptive to the teacher and I also get to learn how to play with my son at home. I love when our teacher gives us advice on at home activities. I also like how we are told the science behind the play (why we are doing it or what part of the brain we are stimulating). I feel that my son is more advanced than others because of the experience." Toni Pabon, De Forest, WI
